Indian Network of Urban Morphology

ISUF is an international platform of urban form researchers started in 1994, bringing together scholars and practitioners worldwide. Members come from several disciplinary backgrounds - architecture, planning, geography, history, and sociology. There are regional chapters established or in formation in many countries. The Regional Chapter of ISUF in India- Indian Network of Urban Morphology (INUM) was formed with the following objectives:

To promote research in urban form under 3 domains-

Change in urban form in Indian cities

Typo-morphological approach to the analysis of urban form

Assessment of urban form using modern technology (Drones & GIS)

To organize seminars, conferences, workshops, certificate courses and publish work on the theme

To establish a relationship with ISUF for providing an international platform for communication with researchers interested in the same domain

To promote the dissemination of research findings to Indian students
